Grunin Center for the Arts Announces Spring Season Shows

originally published: 11/17/2025

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College has announced its spectacular Spring 2026 season, a fantastic lineup of music, family-friendly fun, and exciting performances from artists around the world.

Celebrate the music you love as the Grunin Center transports you back in time with tributes to iconic artists! Revisit the British invasion with “The Brit Pack,” groove to the classic ’70s sounds of the Eagles in “Eaglemania,” experience more than five decades of Chicago’s top-ten hits in “Beginnings,” and sing along with an homage to legendary American singer-songwriters James Taylor, Carly Simon, and Carole King in “Three American Troubadours.”

Music lovers of all ages will enjoy Celtic Angels, the female-led Brass Queens, and a performance from Venezuelan songstress Nella, along with Socks in the Frying Pan, a multi-award-winning trio currently leading the Irish Traditional Music scene. Krakauer & Tagg’s Good Vibes Explosion takes audiences on a musical journey through the diversity of today’s America, a multi-generational collaboration of musicians from across the globe.

Families will love the feats and antics of the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Trio along with the return of “Mutts Gone Nuts,” an uproariously funny dog spectacular that will leave everyone howling for more. Theater enthusiasts will delight in the OCC Repertory Theatre Company’s productions of Brian Friel’s “Dancing at Lughnasa” from March 13-22 and “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” by Steve Martin from April 24-May 3.

Throughout the spring, the Grunin Center continues its tradition of showcasing extraordinary classical musicians in its “Afternoon Recital” series, featuring Alexander Timofeev, Victoria Schwartzman, and a duo performance by Arturo Delmoni and Nina Siniakova. The popular “Jazz on a Sunday Afternoon” series also returns with the Adam Moezinia Trio, Raul Midon, and the Sentimental Journey Big Band performing “It Might As Well Be Swing.”

And finally, the OCC Foundation’s Blauvelt Speaker Series will present an extraordinary evening with renowned author Margaret Atwood on April 23.
