Ferocious Designs takes on Supreme Court in Latest Single

Ferocious Designs, the music project of Central New Jersey-based songwriter Brian Kelley, has released “How Dare You Call Yourself Justice,” a techno-industrial track that takes on the fascists of the U.S. Supreme Court who have undermined American democracy and have ridiculously decided that presidents can act as kings. A music video for the single has also been released.

In addition to “How Dare You Call Yourself Justice,” Ferocious Designs has released new versions of the previously released anti-MAGA anthems “Get Back into Line,” from their 2021 debut EP, A Matter of Time, and “No Time for You,” from their 2023 full-length album, Looking for the Light.

“This release is basically a little anti-MAGA trilogy,” said Kelley.

The single’s artwork features Kelley flipping the bird to a street sign that reads “Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. Way.” Alito grew up in the town where Kelley lives.

“It sickens me that they named a street in my town — where the library is, of all places — after someone who has no moral or ethical code, and bases his decisions on legal doctrines from 1500s Europe rather than modern American legal precedent,” said Kelley. “He struck down Roe v. Wade, literally putting the lives of countless U.S. women at risk, and the town honors this fascist with a street sign right where the library is? That’s not a role model for children.

“And then you have the whole billionaire buddy thing, which once again demonstrates their complete lack of ethics,” added Kelley. “Alito, Thomas, Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett have no right to the title of justice.”

The 3-song “How Dare You Call Yourself Justice” collection is available now for streaming and for download at FerociousDesigns.com. However, Kelley has opted out of Spotify distribution at this time.
