Wednesday, March 27 - Gaelic Storm & the High Kings: The Mighty Tour II Comes to New Jersey. Gaelic Storm & the High Kings: The Mighty Tour II comes to New Jersey for a pair of shows. The first show is at Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) in Morristown on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:30pm. The tour then heads to the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank on Thursday, March 28 at 7:30pm.

Friday, March 29 - McCarter Theatre presents An Evening with Jon Stewart. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- Jon Stewart has announced a series of stand up comedy performances in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Delaware. Produced by Live Nation, the tour comes to the McCarter Theatre Center with performances on Friday, March 29 at 7:30pm & 9:30pm and Saturday, March 30 at 7:30pm.

Saturday, March 30 - bergenPAC presents Magical Mystery Doors. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) presents Magical Mystery Doors on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 8:00pm. They are a tribute act that blends and layers the music of three legendary bands to create something new and unique for music fans everywhere.

Saturday, March 30 - Gerry Perlinski talks about Lost Romance Celebrating a Classic Album by The Black Crowes. The New Jersey rock band Lost Romance has been plugging away since 2011, averaging close to 100 shows a year. On Saturday, March 30, 2024 they will have a show unlike any they've done before when they present a celebration of The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion album by The Black Crowes. The show takes place at McLoone's Supper Club in Asbury Park and they've put together a supergroup of Jersey musicians (Joshua Van Ness, Ryan Greg, Deseree Spinks, Kindra Rose, and Sandy Mack!) to be part of the night.

Saturday, March 30 - Monmouth University presents Mary Gauthier with special guest Jaimee Harris. (WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- Monmouth University's Center for the Arts presents Mary Gauthier with special guest Jaimee Harris on Saturday, March 30, 2024 in the Pollak Theatre. Showtime is 8:00pm.

MUSIC

Wednesday, March 27 - Toby Lightman to Celebrate 20th Anniversary of "Little Things" with special Livestream Performance. This month marks 20 years since the release of "Little Things" by Toby Lightman and she's celebrating with a special online performance on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 8:00pm live on Facebook and Instagram. She will perform the album from front to back and talk about the writing and recording process.

Friday, March 29 - The Newton Theatre presents Foreigners Journey. (NEWTON, NJ) -- Foreigners Journey featuring American Idol finalist, Rudy Cardenas on lead vocals, will perform at The Newton Theatre on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 8:00pm. It's the music and energy of two legendary stadium rock bands comes together in one electrifying show!

Saturday, March 30 - Prudential Center presents Kane Brown. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Multi-platinum, 5X AMA award-winning entertainer and current CMA Award nominee Kane Brown announced details for his upcoming tour, In the Air. The tour kicks off in March and hit 29 cities along the way including Toronto, Las Vegas, and Atlanta, before wrapping in Arlington, TX at Globe Life Field. Locally, tour comes to the Prudential Center in Newark on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 7:00pm. Tyler Hubbard and Parmalee are scheduled as supporting acts.

Saturday, March 30 - The Newton Theatre presents Sugar Mountain. (NEWTON, NJ) -- Sugar Mountain comes to The Newton Theatre on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 8:00pm. Tickets range from $29-39. The band brings together an ensemble of veteran musicians from the New Jersey music scene who faithfully replicate the songs of one of our era's most prolific and beloved singer/songwriters, Neil Young.

Sunday, March 31 - Avenged Sevenfold to Perform at Prudential Center. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Avenged Sevenfold has announced the third leg of their Life is But A Dream… North American tour, featuring Poppy and Sullivan King. The tour includes a stop at Prudential Center in Newark on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

THEATRE

Regional Premiere of "Rabbit Summer" at Mile Square Theatre. (HOBOKEN, NJ) -- Mile Square Theatre proudly announces the regional premiere of Rabbit Summer, a play written and directed by multi-hyphenate performer, playwright and director, Tracey Conyer Lee. This production marks a historic moment as the first time the playwright will direct her own work. Starring Steven St. Pierre as Wilson, Tsebiyah Mishael Derry as Claire, and Ricky Lyne'e as Ruby, Rabbit Summer is a thought-provoking and emotionally charged production. Performances run from March 6-30, 2024.

Bergen County Players presents "The Fantasticks". (ORADELL, NJ) -- Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America's longest-running little theater companies, continues its 92nd season with the longest-running musical classic, The Fantasticks. Full of buoyant humor, charming tunes, and a sprinkle of magic, The Fantasticks has been hailed as "a beautiful, poetic, and highly theatrical tale of the power and depth of love — gained, lost and found again" (Broadway World). Performances run March 9 through April 6, 2024.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "Hello, Dolly!". (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) presents a four-weekend run of Hello, Dolly! from March 15th to April 7th. This is the fourth mainstage show of MMT's 2024 season, and the first to premiere on the Martinson Stage at MMT. The stage will be so named following a ribbon-cutting ceremony the previous evening in honor of John H. Martinson, a generous supporter of MMT.

Luna Stage extends "A Trojan Woman" through March 31st. (WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage will extend its critically-acclaimed production A Trojan Woman through March 31, 2024. Originally slated to close March 24, this National Premiere by by Maplewood resident Sara Farrington has played to sold-out houses and enthusiastic audience response.

Lewis Center for the Arts' Program in Theater & Music Theater presents "She Loves Me". (PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Lewis Center for the Arts' Program in Theater and Music Theater at Princeton University presents She Loves Me, the classic Broadway rom-com that tells the story of two co-workers who, unbeknownst to them, are secretly writing to each other through A Lonely Hearts Club. The production features Princeton seniors Casey Beidel and Madeleine LeBeau and is co-directed by juniors Faith Wangermann and Alison Silldorff. Performances are March 29 and 30 and April 5 and 6 at 8:00pm in the Wallace Theater at Lewis Arts complex on the Princeton campus.

COMEDY

Wednesday, March 27 - Garden of Laughs Returns March 27th with All-Star Lineup. (NEW YORK, NY) -- Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (NYSE: MSGE) ("MSG Entertainment") and the Garden of Dreams Foundation announced the return of Garden of Laughs to The Theater at Madison Square Garden on March 27, 2024 at 8:00pm. This year's show, hosted by Steve Schirripa, will include sets by the biggest names in comedy: Bill Burr, Michael Che, Chris Distefano, Jim Gaffigan, Heather McMahan, Sam Morril and Jon Stewart. Garden of Laughs is an all-star comedy benefit that has raised more than $6 million for the Foundation.

Wednesday, March 27 - J-Sketch presents Purim Post-Game with Mikey Greenblatt, Ami Kozak, Eli Lebowicz and special guests. (TEANECK, NJ) -- J-Sketch, in association with Black Box Studios, presents a "Purim Post-Game" evening of stand-up comedy featuring Mikey Greenblatt, Ami Kozak, Eli Lebowicz and special guests on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 8:00pm at Debonair Music Hall.

Saturday, March 30 - The Beacon Theatre presents comedian Fortune Feimster. (NEW YORK, NY) -- Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) and Outback Presents announced that comedian Fortune Feimster will bring her Live Laugh Love Tour to the Beacon Theatre on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 7:30pm.

Tuesday, April 2 - SOPAC and New Jersey State Council on the Arts present Moving into the Future: New Jersey Choreographers' Festival. (SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- The South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) is thrilled to partner with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts (Arts Council) to present Moving into the Future: New Jersey Choreographers' Festival celebrating the dynamic and diverse artistic visions of 14 of the 2023 Arts Council's Individual Choreography Fellows. This festival will take place Tuesday, April 2 through Thursday, April 4 on SOPAC’s Mainstage.

Wednesday, March 27 - NEA to Host Livestream Conversation on Live Performing Arts on Wednesday. (WASHINGTON, DC) -- The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) will host the public session of the 212th National Council on the Arts meeting on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 11:00am ET at the NEA Headquarters at Constitution Center, 400 7th Street SW, in Washington, DC. This meeting is open to the public to attend (advance registration required for in-person attendance) and will be streamed live at arts.gov.
