Tuesday, June 17 - Count: Stories from America’s Death Row. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- During a single day on death row, six men unpack their personal inheritances of violence, racism, mental illness, poverty, and surprising love. Count: Stories from America's Death Row is a production brought to you through a partnership between the Center for Barth Studies at Princeton Theological Seminary and Chesney Snow of Princeton University. Performances are scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 3:00pm & 7:00pm in McCarter Theatre's Berlind Rehearsal Room.

Wednesday, June 18 - Soul Project NOLA Brings New Orleans Musical Flavor to Annual New Jersey Tour. From June 18-25, 2025, Soul Project NOLA makes their way from New Orleans to New Jersey for their annual tour. The mini tour includes stops at venues that welcome the band back every year to the delight of their audiences, plus a first stop in Wayne, Pennsylvania at 118 North and a show in Atlantic City at Mardi Gras on The Boardwalk, a weekly summertime celebration of the musical legacy of New Orleans. The Atlantic City show features NJ favorites The Ocean Avenue Stompers and members of Dogs in a Pile.

Friday, June 20 - Premiere Stages Announces Four Finalists for 2025 Premiere Play Festival. (UNION, NJ) -- Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, has selected its four finalists for the 2025 Premiere Play Festival. Now in its 20th year, the Festival is an annual competition for unproduced scripts that offers developmental opportunities to playwrights with strong affiliations to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware. This year's finalists were selected from 805 submissions.

Friday, June 20 - Carteret Performing Arts & Event Center presents Laughs on the Rooftop on Saturday. (CARTERET, NJ) -- Carteret Performing Arts & Event Center presents Laughs on the Rooftop on Saturday, June 20, 2025. Hosted by Big Momma, the event begins at 8:00pm on The Rooftop at Carteret PAC. Show is for Ages 18+.

Saturday, June 21 - bergenPAC presents Ben Folds & A Piano Tour. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) presents Ben Folds & A Piano Tour on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 8:00pm. Ben Folds is widely regarded as one of the major music influencers of our generation. The Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter-composer has created an enormous body of genre-bending music that includes pop albums with Ben Folds Five, multiple solo albums, and numerous collaborative records.

Saturday, June 21 - Vivid Stage presents Final Episode of Gemstones June 21-22. (SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary season, marking decades of bringing contemporary theatre to audiences in the state of New Jersey. Coming up is the final episode of the original series, Gemstones, by Phoebe Farber. This episode, which will recap the entire season and wrap up the family's story, runs Saturday, June 21 at 8:00pm and Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 2:00pm.

Saturday, June 21 - Avenel Performing Arts Center presents comedian Juston McKinney. (AVENEL, NJ) -- Avenel Performing Arts Center presents comedian Juston McKinney on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Juston has multiple appearances on “The Tonight Show”, one-hour specials on Comedy Central and Amazon Prime, including "Parentally Challenged" and "On Mid-Life Support." His 5th stand-up special, "On the Bright Side", is currently streaming on his YouTube channel. Showtime is 8:00pm. Carolyn Riley opens the night

Wednesday, June 18 - New Jersey Symphony presents 2025 summer outdoor concert series. New Jersey Symphony kicks off its summer season with its annual summer outdoor concert series which brings a fun-filled orchestral program to locations around the state. This summer's program features selections from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Overture to the The Magic Flute, Gioachino Rossini's Overture to William Tell, a celebration of Duke Ellington's music, highlights from the Broadway show Wicked, and patriotic favorites. New Jersey Symphony Colton Conducting Fellow Gregory D. McDaniel conducts.

Friday, June 20 - HOT 97's Summer Jam 2025 to Take Place at Prudential Center. (NEWARK, NJ) -- HOT 97, New York's #1 station for Hip Hop, is again turning up the heat with Summer Jam 2025, the ultimate one-night-only celebration of the culture. Produced by The Black Promoters Collective and part of the Prudential North to Shore Festival, the biggest names in Hip Hop will take the stage on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Prudential Center.

Friday, June 20 - North to Shore Festival presents Third Eye Blind and Stars at NJPAC. (NEWARK, NJ) -- The Prudential North to Shore Festival is set to present an incredible night of alternative rock featuring Third Eye Blind at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 8:00pm. Canadian indie rock band Stars will open the night.

Friday, June 20 - 311 to Perform in Atlantic City. (ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- 311 is bringing the energy back to the road with the return of their Unity Tour in 2025. In support of their latest full-length album, Full Bloom, the tour kicks off in Atlantic City at Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort on Friday, June 20, 2025, and will span coast to coast, bringing 311's signature fusion of rock, reggae, and funk to fans nationwide. Joining them on this epic run will be direct support from Badflower, with Sitting on Saturn opening the show as the first of three acts.

Friday, June 20 - Haddon Township hosts 8th Annual Summer Solstice Music Festival. (HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Haddon Township will kick off the season with the 8th Annual Summer Solstice Music Festival on Friday, June 20, 2025. The event takes place from 4:00pm-10:00pm on Haddon Avenue between Strawbridge Avenue & Cooper Street.

Saturday, June 21 - Levoy Theatre presents Sara Evans. (MILLVILLE, NJ) -- The Levoy Theatre presents Sara Evans on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 7:00pm. The Multi-platinum entertainer is at the top of her game. She's among the most-played female artists at country radio in nearly the last two decades.

Saturday, June 21 - The Newton Theatre presents Gaelic Storm. (NEWTON, NJ) -- Gaelic Storm comes to The Newton Theatre on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 8:00pm. It's hard to imagine a band just coming into their own after 20 years of success, but that's exactly what makes a true anomaly. Gaelic Storm, a multi-national, Celtic juggernaut grows stronger with each live performance, and after two decades and over 2000 shows, they are a true force to be reckoned with.

Sunday, June 22 - The Newton Theatre presents Jorma Kaukonen on June 22nd. Sunday, June 22 - North to Shore Festival presents Slightly Stoopid at Stone Pony Summer Stage. Arden Theatre Company to Close Out 2024-25 Season with "RENT". (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Arden Theatre Company is thrilled to close out its 2024-25 season with the electrifying Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical RENT. Following its Broadway debut in 1996, where it earned four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book, and Best Featured Actor in a Musical, RENT redefined musical theatre by taking audiences on an unforgettable journey of love, loss, hope, and resilience.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents Disney's "The Little Mermaid". (MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse presents Disney's The Little Mermaid, from May 29 through June 29, 2025. The beloved musical is the final production of Paper Mill's 2024-2025 season. With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman & Glenn Slater, and a book by Doug Wright, The Little Mermaid is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film produced by Howard Ashman & John Musker and written & directed by John Musker & Ron Clements.

Pig Iron Theatre Company presents World Premiere of "Franklin's Keys" - Sci-Fi Adventure weaving Philly history, science, discovery, and magic. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- The internationally acclaimed, award-winning Philadelphia- based physical theater company Pig Iron Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Franklin's Key, written by Dan Rothenberg and Robert Quillen Camp. This thrilling, magical, sci-fi theatrical adventure explores Benjamin Franklin's hidden discoveries in a parallel universe and runs from June 3-29, 2025 at Plays & Players Theatre.

Cape May Stage presents "Vanities". (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents Vanities by Jack Heifner from June 4-29, 2025. This bittersweet comedy is an astute, snapshot-sharp chronicle of the lives of three Texas girls. The production is directed by Roy Steinberg.

Luna Stage presents a new solo adaptation of "The Ground on Which We Stand (abridged)". (WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage presents a new solo adaptation of The Ground on Which We Stand (abridged) from June 5-21, 2025. The play was inspired by the history and legacy of The James Howe House, the first home owned by a formerly enslaved person in Montclair. The project was conceived and is directed by Ari Laura Keith.

Luna Stage presents "The Ground On Which We Stand (Abridged)". (WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage is thrilled to announce The Ground On Which We Stand (Abridged) — a solo performance inspired by the history and legacy of The James Howe House written by Turron Kofi Alleyne, Jenny Lyn Bader, Sakinah Hofler, Stephen Kaplan, Kyle Mazer, Kathleen McGhee-Anderson, Diane Polledri, Martine Sainvil, TyLie Shider, Mo Schlick, Melissa Toomey, and Richard Wesley, abriged by TyLie Shider — will run June 5-22, 2025 on the MainStage.

The Ritz Theatre Company presents "Angels In America, Part 2: Perestroika". (HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Ritz Theatre Company presents Angels In America, Part 2: Perestroika as a Black Box Production weekends from June 6-22, 2025. The play by Tony Kushner won the 1994 Tony Award for Best Play. In the second part of Kushner's epic, the plague of AIDS worsens, relationships fall apart as new relationships form, and unexpected friendships take flight.

Philadelphia Theatre Company presents "Small Ball". (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Philadelphia Theatre Company closes out their season with Small Ball from June 6-29, 2025 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. Commissioned and co-produced by Daryl Morey, President of Basketball Operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, Small Ball is an off-beat and surreal musical about a professional basketball team, a mysterious new recruit, a tiny island nation, and the big questions that bounce between them.

Studio Players presents "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon". (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Studio Players presents The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon by Don Zolidis across three weekends from June 6-21, 2025. Over two hundred Fairytales in two hours... what could go wrong?

The Ritz Theatre Company presents Tony Kushner's "Angels in America, Part 2: Perestroika". (HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Ritz Theatre Company proudly continues its commitment to bold, transformative storytelling with Tony Kushner's Angels in America, Part 2: Perestroika, running from June 6-22, 2025. Directed by Matthew Weil, this landmark production delivers the riveting conclusion to Kushner's Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning epic.

Two River Theater presents "The Price" by Arthur Miller. (RED BANK, NJ) -- Two River Theater has announced the cast and creative team for The Price by Arthur Miller (Death of A Salesman, The Crucible), directed by Brandon J. Dirden (August Wilson's Radio Golf, Wine in the Wilderness). This American Classic will run in the Joan and Robert Rechnitz Theater, June 7-29, 2025.

Vanguard Theater presents "Hair". (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Vanguard Theater presents Hair, The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical from June 12-29, 2025. A celebration of the 1960s counterculture, Hair bursts onto the stage in all its barefoot, beaded, and bell-bottomed glory.

Classic American Tales presents "Tales at the Dormer House". (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 12 through October 16, 2025, Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents "Tales at the Dormer House" in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories by American authors. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting. Otherwise, they will be inside. Cost is only $12.00, cash at the door, and guests at The Dormer House and children ages 12 and under are free.

Pioneer Productions Company presents Jonathan Larson's enduring masterpiece "RENT". (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Pioneer Productions is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of RENT, the iconic Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical with music, lyrics, and book by Jonathan Larson. The performances will run from June 13-22, 2025, at The Stage at Fellowship Hall, located in the Morristown United Methodist Church.

Sussex County Resident's Original Play Selected to Be Performed at New York Theater Festival's "SummerFest 2025". (NEW YORK, NY) -- Sparta resident Allison Ognibene, and lead faculty of Theater at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) has written an original play called "Mile 59" that will be featured in the renowned New York Theater Festival, "NY Summerfest" in June 2025 at the Hudson Guild Theater.

Middlesex County Plays-in-the-Park Unveils Lineup for 2025 Summer Season. (EDISON, NJ) -- Middlesex County's Plays-in-the-Park returns this summer to the Stephen J. Capestro Theatre located at Roosevelt Park, presenting three popular Broadway musicals: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Rent, and Grease.

East Lynne Theater Company presents Ken Ludwig's "Dear Jack, Dear Louise". (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The award-winning, Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) – now in its 45th year–will present its first show of the company's Mainstage Season, Ken Ludwig's "Dear Jack, Dear Louise," from June 19 to July 12, 2025 with a special performance to honor Veterans on June 27. The heartwarming love story features Liz Mattera, an East Lynne veteran, as Louise, and New York-based actor Xander Furman as Jack, with Mark Edward Lang (ELTC's "Possessing Harriet") directing and lush period costumes by NYC designer Travis Chinick.

Celebrate Courage and Authenticity with "She's NorMale – A Transgender Odyssey". (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Geenetica (Geena Buono) brings her heartfelt vision to the stage with She's NorMale – A Transgender Odyssey, a groundbreaking live multimedia musical production premiering Thursday, June 19, 2025 at House of Independents. Showtime is 7:00pm. As part of The North 2 Shore Festival in Asbury Park, NJ, this will be the second year the show kicks off the festival line-up.

North Star Theater Company presents "Ride the Cyclone". Stargazer Performing Arts presents Inaugural Jersey Shore Young Playwrights Festival. (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Stargazer Performing Arts will present the inaugural Jersey Shore Young Playwrights Festival on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Duncan Smith Theater in Holmdel. This is a brand-new celebration of emerging talent from teen writers across Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, and Cape May counties. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Oscar Wilde's farcical tale depicting the tangled affairs of two men-about-town leading double lives comes to the stage of Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre when Shakespeare '70 presents The Importance of Being Earnest, June 20-29, 2025.

Music Mountain Theatre presents the monster-hit musical "Young Frankenstein". (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- From the creators of Broadway's record-breaking musical comedy sensation The Producers comes Young Frankenstein, the monster-hit musical based on the classic film comedy by Mel Brooks. Music Mountain Theatre presents the musical in a limited engagement of 11 weekend performances from June 20 through July 6, 2025.

New Jersey Performing Arts High School Makes History. (TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County Vocational Technical School's (OCVTS) Grunin Performing Arts Academy (GPAA) is thrilled to announce that its fall drama production, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, has been selected to perform at the International Thespian Festival, the world's largest celebration of high school theatre. This prestigious event will take place at Indiana University Bloomington from June 22-27, 2025.

"Heathers, the Musical" returns to NYC this summer. (NEW YORK, NY) -- Producers Bill Kenwright LTD., Paul Taylor-Mills and Jerry Goehring are pleased to announce that after smash hit runs in London and on tour throughout the UK, a new production of Heathers the Musical will make its eagerly awaited return to New York City in June.

LoMotion Live Presents a Developmental Reading of "The Librarian Life of Margaret Hill". (BOONTON, NJ) -- LoMotion Live is pleased to announce a developmental reading of a new work-in-progress audio drama, The Librarian Life of Margaret Hill: An Audio Drama in Six Episodes, written and directed by Michelle Tattenbaum. (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- In honor of Juneteenth, East Lynne Theater Company will host a screening of "Whispers from the Forgotten," a 33-minute documentary that explores the history of Union Bethel Civil Cemetery, an important Cape May County African American cemetery, on June 22, 2025, at the Clemans Theater for the Arts at the Allen AME Church.

Saturday, June 21 - SSAAM presents Juneteenth 2025: Stories of Freedom. (SKILLMAN, NJ) -- The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM), Central New Jersey's only museum sharing the history of African Americans in our region since the trans-Atlantic Slave trade, will hold its fourth annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event runs from 12:00pm to 4:00pm (rain or shine).

(LEONIA, NJ) -- Grab your boots & hat and head on down to Bergen Equestrian Center located at Overpeck Park for a Boots & BBQ Festival presented by Discover Line Dance on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 5:00pm-9:00pm. This is a fundraiser for Our Stable Life which is Bergen Equestrian’s Equine Therapy Program and is $25 per person (kids under 12 are free.) All proceeds to benefit "Our Stable Life."
