Eliot Lewis, from Hall & Oates, to perform at the outdoor stage at the Physick Estate

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- World renowned singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eliot Lewis is the headline performer on Thursday, August 25 at 6:30pm for a special night of storytelling and classic hits from the man himself, unplugged on an intimate stage, in the heart of Cape May and outside, on the beautiful and historic grounds of the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. The show is part of Cape May’s new Summer Sunset Solo Series.

Eliot Lewis has toured the world as a member of the band Hall & Oates,  inductees in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and one of Philadelphia’s own, most beloved and successful bands. Lewis is the original featured musician on the award-winning TV show “Live from Daryl’s House.” Over the course of his career Lewis has earned a stellar reputation working with some of rock and roll’s most prominent musicians and groups, including The Average White Band, Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, Joe Walsh, Todd Rundgren, Train, Cheap Trick, Ben Folds Five, Jewel, Darius Rucker, Gavin DeGraw and more. Enjoy a variety of classic hits from these artists.

There will be an opening Set by Cape May’s own Hannah Stone. Hannah has written and recorded vocals for various TV and Netflix shows including “Search Party,” “Never Have I Ever” and “Vanderpump Rules.” In May of 2020 she released her first two singles “It’s Raining” and “Sleep Through the Summer,” followed by her debut EP Album “God’s Against This.” Her songs feature a unique soundscape and a refreshing sense of ingenuity within her lyricism, delivered by a sultry and impassioned voice.

About the Show: Bring Your Own (BYO) blanket, chair, food or beverage of choice and take advantage of this unique opportunity to get up close and personal with celebrated musicians in a laid-back scenic outdoor setting. This all-ages event is the perfect alternative for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the vacation season for a weeknight of relaxation and laid-back community enjoyment. The grounds are wheelchair accessible. The Emlen Physick Estate is an authorized retail outlet for Cape May Winery wine, which will be available for purchase on the grounds. Festival Ground Doors Open at 6:30 p.m. for all ticketed guests. All paid ticket holders will receive a complimentary Cape May Lighthouse admission voucher (a $12 value) courtesy of Cape May MAC.
