Drew University hosts John Mellencamp and Bad Company Tribute Bands

originally published: 10/29/2025

(MADISON, NJ) -- Looking for something beyond the usual holiday fare? Skip the carolers and cookie-cutter concerts—on Sunday, December 14, 2025, The Concert Hall at Drew University transforms into a powerhouse of festive rock. One stage, one unforgettable night: Tommy Scro's Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy and Human Wheels, led by Rob Santa, unite for a double-header tribute to two American rock legends. Showtime is 6:00pm.

From the anthemic punch of "Feel Like Makin' Love" to the heartland grit of "Pink Houses," this show delivers all the swagger, soul, and storytelling you crave. It's a celebration of timeless rock, with a seasonal twist that breaks the mold and lights up the room.

Tommy Scro, a lifelong musician and dynamic frontman, is known for his powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence. With roots in classic rock and blues, he's spent years electrifying stages across the tri-state area. As the driving force behind Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy, Tommy channels the raw energy of Bad Company with arena-worthy precision—bringing hits like "Shooting Star" and "Can't Get Enough" to life with grit, soul, and unmistakable style.

Rob Santa, a charismatic performer with a knack for capturing Mellencamp's blue-collar spirit, brings the songs to life—from "Jack & Diane" to "R.O.C.K. in the USA"—with authenticity and heart. Rob also fronts Saints In The City, a tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and brings that same Jersey Shore fire to every performance.

Tickets start at just $30 with fees included and are available for purchase online. The Concert Hall at Drew University is located at 36 Madison Avenue in Madison, New Jersey.
