(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Center Players offers two special events at Center Playhouse, 35 South St, in downtown Freehold, NJ this December - A short films showcase and It’s A Wonderful Life Radio Play.
Center Players Cinema: Short Films Showcase and Filmmaker Q&A - Saturday, December 3rd at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. This special event will feature screening of 15 short films from local award-winning filmmakers Anthony Marinelli, Keith Armonaitis, Jeff Musillo, Michael Tota and Dave McGrath, most of whom have also directed productions for Center Players. Films include: Acoustic Space, Written, Directed and Edited by Anthony Marinelli; A Cool Dark Place, Directed by Tiffany Frances, Edited by Anthony Marinelli; Cell Phone Madness, Written and Directed by Dave McGrath; The Scent, Written and Directed by Jeff Musillo; Swung, Written by Keith Armonaitis, Directed by Fokke Baarssen; Mis-Connected and Color My World, both Written and Directed by Michael Tota; and Be Home Soon, Written and Directed by Keith Armonaitis. It’s A Wonderful Life Radio Play - Saturday, December 10th at 2:00pm. The Classic Radio Road Show Company will present this staged radio play based on the beloved film by Frank Capra. The performance will be enhanced by costumes, sound effects, music, and the voices of specially trained actors. The event will include an It’s A Wonderful Life trivia game following the performance.
