Mayor Daniel J. Reiman speaks at the annual Carteret Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting in Carteret Park.
(CARTERET, NJ) -- On Friday, December 1, 2023, Carteret Mayor Daniel J. Reiman will join with the Borough Council in hosting the town's annual Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting at Carteret Park. Festivities will take place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with the annual tree lighting at 7:00pm.
Festival Highlights will include live holiday music, photos with Santa, hot cocoa, cookies, hot pretzels, and horse & buggy rides.
"Our Holiday Festival transforms Carteret Park into a winter wonderland, capturing the true spirit of the holidays for families and visitors with lavish festivities," the Mayor said.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be among the many highlights of the annual Carteret Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting on December 1 at Carteret Park.
Hanukkah will be celebrated from December 7-15. In celebration, a menorah lighting will take place on Thursday, December 7 at 6:00pm with Rabbi Azriel Brown of the Carteret Hebrew Center.
