Bell Theater at Bell Works presents Hearts in Motion

originally published: 02/03/2026

(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Bell Theater at Bell Works presents Hearts in Motion with the Axelrod Performing Arts Academy x Ballet Rêve with performances on February 13-14, 2026.

Hearts in Motion invites audiences on a powerful journey through the stages of love — Beginnings, Crossroads, and Unity. From first sparks to moments of doubt, to celebrating the beauty of human connection, this contemporary ballet reflects love in its many forms: romantic, familial, and friendship.

Set to a sweeping soundtrack ranging from timeless Nat King Cole to the modern hits of Olivia Dean and other contemporary artists, this work blends nostalgia and newness to illuminate the beauty and complexity of the human heart.

Performed by professional dancers in collaboration with Axelrod Academy, Hearts in Motion is a story told in movement — expressive, intimate, and deeply human.

Performances take place Friday, February 13 at 7:00pm and Saturday, February 14 at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. Bell Theater at Bell Works is located at 101 Crawfords Corner Road in Holmdel, New Jersey.
