(AVENEL, NJ) -- Pat Guadagno brings his tribute to Tom Waits - The Heart of Saturday Night - to the Avenel Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 3:00pm. He will be joined by musicians like Shady Street Showman Ryan Gregg, Hip Hop, Jazz & Blues Powerhouse Deseree Spinks, and Alternative Folk Award winner Emily Grove. Danni Nicholls will open the night.

Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tom Waits recorded over 30 groundbreaking albums, filled with theatrical tales of bungled romance, late-night diners, and early- morning cold fronts. New Jersey Troubadour, Pat Guadagno celebrates the brilliance of these Blood and Whiskey-Stained songs, written by of one of the most deviant and provocative artists of our time.

Anyone who has been to one of Guadagno’s musical celebrations, BobFest (Bob Dylan), A Marvelous Night (Van Morrison), 100 Years of Hank (Hank Williams) or Souvenirs (John Prine), knows to expect a selective harvest of the musical gems from the artists prolific catalog, delivered with passion and reverence that has become Guadagno’s trademark.

Tickets are $32.50 (plus fees) and available for purchase online.

Pat Guadagno has recorded 5 albums filled with Musical surprises including collaborations with Grammy Award winner Keb’ Mo’  and Dove Award Winner Steve Delopoulos.  His unique interpretations of other artist works are showcased in both his recordings and live performances where he has created reverent theatrical tributes to Van Morrison – A Marvelous Night , Tom Waits – Heart of Saturday Night, John Prine –  Souvenirs and Bob Dylan – BobFest, (‘NJ’s Hippest Musical Tradition’ – Rock Journalist Uncle Mike.)
