A Look at the Musical Acts at 2024 Monmouth County Fair

CC & the Boys will perform on Saturday, July 27

(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- The Monmouth County Fair is almost here and brings with it incredible live musical performances.  The fun kicks off with The Counterfeiters from 8:15pm-9:00pm and 9:30pm-10:15pm on Wednesday, July 24.  Playing a little bit of everything - hits from '80s and '90s, hip hop, pop and more - this ultimate party band will have the audience dancing the night away. 

The good times continue with Brian Kirk and the Jirks from 8:30pm-10:00pm on Thursday, July 25.  Brimming with talent and charisma, this legendary Jersey Shore band promises to deliver an unforgettable time with their mixture of rock, pop and disco covers.  Then celebrate the greatest decade in music with Super Trans Am from 8:30pm-10:00pm on Friday, July 26. This ‘70s tribute band will have the audience grooving to the era’s biggest arena anthems and chart toppers.

On Saturday, July 27, the fun starts early with Country Line Dancing provided by BTK Entertainment from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Kick up your heels during this dynamic experience that combines line calling and a dance lesson that’s sure to get everybody up and moving.  Keep those cowboy boots handy when CC & The Boys wow audiences from 8:30pm-10:00pm with their amazing renditions of country and southern rock party hits.

Then on Sunday, July 28, the Magnolia Street String Band will get your toes tapping from 2:00pm-3:30pm. with traditional bluegrass music with hints of country and folk. Last, but certainly not least, students from Rockit Academy take the stage from 4:15pm-5:00pm.

Held at East Freehold Showgrounds, 1500 Kozloski Road, Freehold, the Monmouth County Fair also offers strolling entertainment, rides, games, a Home & Garden Competition, 4-H shows & exhibits, opening night fireworks (weather permitting), and so much more. Additional highlights include the Wallenda Productions Aerial Thrill Show, Butterfly EncounterBwana Jim Wildlife ShowHilby the Skinny German Juggle BoyMutts Gone NutsRobinson’s Racing Pigs, and Tommie Turvey's Stunt Horses & Dogs.

The Fair is open 4:00pm-11:00pm on Wednesday-Friday, July 24-26; 11:00am-11:00pm on Saturday, July 27; and 11:00am-6:00pm on Sunday, July 28.  General daily admission to the Monmouth County Fair is $10 per adult; children 12 and under are admitted free. Veterans and active military with ID also enter for free.  On Sunday, seniors 65 and older and students with ID are free. New for this year is half price admission during the first two hours of each day; 4:00pm-6:00pm. Wednesday-Friday; and 11:00am-1:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
