(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse has released production photos for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, featuring a book by Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award nominee Douglas McGrath and words and music by Gerry Goffin & Carole King and Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil. Directed by Casey Hushion, choreographed by Jennifer Werner and music directed by Wendy Bobbitt Cavett. Beautiful is on stage now through July 3, 2024 at Paper Mill Playhouse. Red Wanting Blue Releases 'Light It Up' - The Band's 13th Studio Album 
(COLUMBUS, OH) -- Columbus, Ohio's indie rock stalwarts Red Wanting Blue released their thirteenth studio album, Light It Up, via Blue Élan Records on June 7, 2024. This marks their second album for the boutique Westwood, CA based indie label and the first the band has self-produced. Fantastic Cat Releases Sophomore Album and Video for "So Glad You Made It" 
Against all odds, Fantastic Cat has successfully released their sophomore album, Now That's What I Call Fantastic Cat, on June 7, 2024 via Missing Piece Records. The band marked the release with the official video for "So Glad You Made It," starring Counting Crows' Adam Duritz (who contributed vocals to the track) and hip hop legend DMC (who said yes to being in the video for some reason).
Ferocious Designs releases 'Open Your Eyes' EP 
Ferocious Designs, the music project of central New Jersey-based songwriter Brian Kelley, has released a 5-song EP, Open Your Eyes, following the title track's 11th-place (tie) finish in last month's global FediVision Song Contest that included a field of 72 entries. A music video for the track "Beyond Forever" has also been released.

New Release Review - 'The Dead Don't Hurt' 
Viggo Mortensen's Falling was exactly the sort of intimate, talky drama you might expect an actor to choose for their debut as writer/director. For his follow-up Mortensen has opted for something that seems very different on the surface, a western, but while there's gun-slingin', horse ridin' and a villain clad in black, it's very much a character-based western of the sort that were common before the Italians stripped the genre down to its action basics.

You Can Be Part Of The 2024 Monmouth County Fair Home & Garden Competition 
(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- It's time to start getting your entries ready for the Home & Garden Competition at this year's Monmouth County Fair. Staff will accept entries of art, photos, crafts, needlework and canning on Sunday, July 21 from 9:00am-3:00pm and on Monday, July 22 from 8:00am-11:00am. Flower and vegetable entries should be brought to the Fairgrounds on Friday, July 26 from 8:00am-12:00pm. Baked goods will be accepted at the Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 27 from 8:00am-11:00am. Pre-registration is not required for these categories. Please note that this is an amateur competition.
