Theater League of Clifton to Hold Auditions for "Murder on the Menu"
 

(CLIFTON, NJ) -- The Theater League of Clifton will hold auditions for its 2024 summer dinner/theater production of "Murder on the Menu." Auditions for the comedy/murder mystery will be held May 30 and 31 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Mario’s Restaurant (710 Van Houten Avenue) in Clifton. Call backs, if necessary, will be held on June 3 from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

 



West Hudson Arts and Theater Company presents The 2024 One Act Play Festival
 

(HARRISON, NJ) -- West Hudson Arts and Theater Company (WHATCo) will present The 2024 One Act Play Festival, a showcase of 9 original works from local playwrights on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18 at 7:30pm at The Theater at WHATCo, 15 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd, S., Harrison, NJ.

New Bell Theater Opens with "East Carson Street"
 

New Jersey has a new professional theater that is now open and active. The Bell Theater is located in Holmdel's Bell Works complex. it is a part of the Axelrod Performing Arts Center.

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Hub City Opera and Dance presents the New Jersey premiere of "Murasaki's Moon." This captivating new opera brings to life the remarkable story of Lady Murasaki, the 11th-century Japanese writer who defied societal norms to create "The Tale of Genji," widely considered the world's first novel. The production will open on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Avenel Performing Arts Center. Showtime is 2:00pm.

2024 New Jersey International Film Festival Preview
 

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The 29th Annual New Jersey International Film Festival will take place May 31 to June 9, 2024 on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. The Festival will be a hybrid one as it will be presented online as well as with in-person screenings at Rutgers University. All the films will be available virtually via Video on Demand for 24 hours on their show date.
