(HARRISON, NJ) -- West Hudson Arts and Theater Company (WHATCo) will present The 2024 One Act Play Festival, a showcase of 9 original works from local playwrights on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18 at 7:30pm at The Theater at WHATCo, 15 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd, S., Harrison, NJ.
“We are not only showcasing new voices of emerging playwrights from our community, but we are also presenting an exciting collaborative effort that brings together dozens of talented theater artists!,” said Festival Director Holly Stefanik.
WHATCo received submissions from nearly 1,000 playwrights not only from throughout the area, but also from as far away as Australia, England and New Zealand! Presented each evening will be:

Tickets are $10 and available for purchase online or at the door. Free parking is available in the fenced in lot on Jersey Street.
The mission of West Hudson Arts and Theater Company (WHATCo) is to be a cultural resource that will enrich and invigorate the West Hudson community as a whole while embracing, educating and entertaining people of all ages, cultures and abilities. Through a range of quality theatrical productions they seek to stimulate, celebrate and enhance the understanding of theater while fostering and inspiring growth and creativity in their members. They strive to be a resource for both the residents and businesses of the greater West Hudson area and to enrich the cultural depth, education and vitality of the community at large.
