Middletown Arts Center Accepting Submissions for MAC ONE-ACTS Play-Reading Festival 
(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The Middletown Arts Center is accepting submissions for The MAC ONE-ACTS annual play-reading festival featuring original, one-act works by New Jersey playwrights. Entries from New Jersey residents ages 18 and older will be accepted and must be original, unpublished scripts adhering to standard professional play format with run-times of no longer than 30 minutes. Submission deadline is Friday, April 26, 2024, at 11:59pm.
West Hudson Arts & Theater Co presents "Disaster! The Musical" 
(HARRISON, NJ) -- The West Hudson Arts & Theater Co (WHATCo) brings its Main Stage season to a close with a hilarious production of Disaster! The Musical for two weekends starting April 26th at The Theater at WHATCo. Disaster! comes to West Hudson straight from Broadway and features some of the most unforgettable songs of the '70s like “Knock on Wood," "Hooked on a Feeling," and "Hot Stuff."
Bordentown Regional High School Theater Club presents 2024 One Act Play Festival

Award winning singer, songwriter and podcaster Jann Klose is releasing new music this season. His cover of Tim Buckley's legendary "Song to the Siren" will be released Friday, May 3, 2024 via KMG Distribution/The Royalty Network. The song has been a staple of Klose's live show for the better part of a decade since featuring as the voice of Tim Buckley in the Focus World/Tribeca feature film "Greetings From Tim Buckley" starring Penn Badgley as Jeff Buckley.
Albert Music Hall presents Presley in the Pines

Rider University's Westminster Choir releases new recording in celebration of 100th year

Middlesex County Farmland Preservation Program completes acquisition of 7-acre farm located in South Brunswick Township 
(SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Middlesex County safeguarded a 7-acre farm located in South Brunswick Township through the Farmland Preservation Program on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. The County, in partnership with the state and the Township of South Brunswick, purchased the development rights for the farmland located on Davidsons Mill Road, owned by Candice Howard and Thomas Brys, of South Brunswick Township, for $235,438. The State contributed $141,262.80, the County paid $47,087.60, and South Brunswick Township paid $47,087.60 towards the purchase.
