McCarter Announces 2024-2025 Theatre Series 
(PRINCETON, NJ) -- On March 26, Artistic Director Sarah Rasmussen and Executive Director Martin Miller announced McCarter Theatre Center's 2024-2025 Theatre Series, including a gravity-defying spectacle, an engrossing true story from Moisés Kaufman and the legendary Tectonic Theater Project, two comedies making their New Jersey premiere, and a much-anticipated, world-premiere musical. The company returns to a full five-play offering for the first time since the 2019-20 Season. Also returning as a season add-on is McCarter's annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol.

Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Chris Smither 
(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- The Lizzie Rose Music Room presents singer-songwriter Chris Smither on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 7:30pm. Having distilled his own signature sound of blues and folk for over 50 years, Chris Smither is truly an American original. A profound songwriter, Chris continues to draw deeply from the blues, American folk music, modern poets and philosophers. His 20th record, All About the Bones will be released on May 3, 2024 on Signature Sounds/Mighty Albert.
Plainfield Symphony presents "Journey Through the Night" 
(PLAINFIELD, NJ) -- The climax of the 104th season of the Plainfield Symphony will be "Journey Through the Night" on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church in Plainfield. The concert features Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 7 in E minor; perhaps, the least performed of his symphonies but one of pure genius. The performance will be preceded by Charles Prince's "Chat with Charles," where he will share his passion and personal insights into this work. Showtime is 7:00pm.

Toby Lightman to Celebrate 20th Anniversary of "Little Things" with special Livestream Performance 
This month marks 20 years since the release of "Little Things" by Toby Lightman and she's celebrating with a special online performance on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 8:00pm live on Facebook and Instagram. She will perform the album from front to back and talk about the writing and recording process.
New Jersey Symphony Presents Star Wars - Return of the Jedi in Concert 
(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Symphony will present Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert with composer John Williams’ venerated score performed live to the film. Conductor Nicholas Hersh will lead New Jersey Symphony in all four performances: Mayo Performing Arts Center (April 4th), Count Basie Center for the Arts (April 5th), State Theatre New Jersey (April 6th), and New Jersey Performing Arts Center (April 7th).
