2023 Monmouth County Fair Music Preview

(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- The Monmouth County Fair is almost here and brings with it an amazing line-up of live musical performances.  The fun kicks off with Amish Outlaws (shown above) performing from 8:15pm-9:00p.m. and 9:30pm-10:15pm on Wednesday, July 26.  Expect the unexpected with this high-energy band that plays everything from hip-hop to the latest pop songs interspersed with humorous anecdotes of their Amish youth.

The good times continue when The Nerds take the stage on Thursday, July 27 from 8:30pm-10:00pm.  Don’t be fooled by their look, this cover band rocks as they play songs from over three decades.  Friday, July 28, brings the Back to the Eighties Show with Jessie’s Girl from 8:30pm-10:00pm. This tribute to eighties music combines near flawless renditions of the decade’s most iconic songs and costumes of its most unforgettable characters. 

Get ready to groove when Coast 2 Coast Philly brings their unique electrifying sound and dance performance on Saturday, July 29 from 8:30pm-10:00pm as they cover the biggest hits of pop, R&B, jazz, soul, alternative, funk, hip hop, reggae and more.

Then join the Sensational Soul Cruisers on Sunday, July 30 from 1:30pm-3:00pm for the ultimate dance party.  Fronted by four soulful vocalists, this 11-man horn group pays homage to the best of the sixties, seventies and eighties old school, classic soul, R&B, Motown and disco.  The afternoon also offers performances by the students from Rockit Academy from 4:15pm-5:00pm.

The Monmouth County Fair is open 4:00pm-11:00pm on Wednesday-Friday, July 26-28; 11:00am-11:00pm on Saturday, July 29; and 11:00am-6:00pm on Sunday, July 30.  Admission is $8 per person; children 12 and under are free.  Veterans and active military with ID also enter for free.  On Sunday, seniors 65 and older and students with ID are free.

The Monmouth County Fair is presented by the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners in cooperation with the Monmouth County Park System and the Monmouth County 4-H Association.
