Bordentown Regional High School Theater Club presents 2024 One Act Play Festival

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- The Bordentown Regional High School Theater Club will present their 2024 One Act Play Festival: Rogues' Gallery on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 7:30pm in the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door. All proceeds benefit BRHS senior scholarships.

Rogues' Gallery is an evening of short, comedic plays by Elissa C. Huang, Ian McWethy, Jason Pizzarello, Kathryn Funkhouser, Maria Pretzl, Patrick Greene, Rachel Bublitz, Tyler Dwiggins and Carrie McCrossen. The evening will also feature the premiere of the new play Faithful by senior Kace Darbouze-Omolade, winner of the 2023 BRHS Playwriting Competition. All plays star the award-winning thespians of Bordentown Regional High School.

The 2024 BRHS One Act Play Festival includes performances from students Brynn Bowyer, Aidan Bramley, Gabriella Cuccia, Candise Davis, Angela DeIeso, Leah Eisele, Zoltan Erdos, Rylie Evans, Austin Faison-West, Nina Guidotti, Muhammed Ali Gumus, Ryan Haje, John Heitzenroeder, Alexa House, Madelyn Jones, Alicia Kitner, Wren Magby, Ceilidh Manigrasso, Emmary McLaughlin, Adam Palmer, Rylan Phillips, Atlas Planas-Borgstrom, Adam Pollard, Kayla Rose, Nadia Sara, Genevieve Schenone, Rachel Schiariti, and Gracie Tyler.

The plays are directed by seniors Aidan Bramley, Sal Carr, Seren Dagli, Kace Darbouze-Omolade, Rachel Schiariti, and Tyler Thalhauser, juniors Jayde Rios and Genevieve Schenone, and sophomores Brynn Bowyer, Rylie Evans and Atlas Planas-Borgstrom.

The Bordentown Performing Arts Center is located at 318 Ward Avenue in Bordentown, New Jersey. It is a new 942 seat facility whose goal is to bring local, regional and world renowned cultural performances to the community.  This spacious, multi-purpose facility is ideal for concerts, plays, dance, and musical theatre, as well as business meetings and presentations. In addition to state-of-the-art lighting and sound capabilities, the BPAC features a projection system for showing films and Power Points.

Bordentown Regional High School is home to a number of award-winning student performing arts organizations, including Show Choir, Jazz Ensemble, BRHS Drama, Madrigal Honors Ensemble, String Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, and more... and they all perform at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center.

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Every Thursday at 4:00pm through October 10, 2024, Classic American Tales (CAT) presents readings of stories, plays, and poetry at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast, 800 Columbia Avenue in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting. Otherwise, they will be inside. Guests are also treated to lemonade and tasty treats. Cost is $12.00, cash or check at the door, and guests at The Dormer House and children ages 12 and under are free.
