(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Westminster Conservatory of Music will present “Zephyrs: Music for Winds” on April 22 at 7:30pm. The recital will take place in Hillman Performance Hall in the Marion Buckelew Cullen Music Center, 101 Walnut Lane in Princeton. It is open to the public free of charge; masking is optional.
The performers — Kevin Willois, flute; Dr. Timothy Urban, recorder; Melissa Bohl, oboe; Kenneth Ellison, clarinet; Stephen Andrewlavage, saxophone; and Patricia Landy and Phyllis Lehrer, piano — are members of the Westminster Conservatory faculty.
The evening’s repertoire will include Sonata ‘Undine’ op. 167 for flute and piano by Carl Reinecke, selections by J.J. Quantz for recorder alone, Seven Bagatelles for solo oboe by Gordon Jacob, Five Bagatelles, op. 23 for clarinet and piano by Gerald Finzi, and other works.
Established in 1970, Westminster Conservatory is the community music school of Rider University.
