(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- To kick off its Spring season the Atlantic City Ballet performed the premier of Carmina Burana at the Circus Maximus Theater at Caesars on February 24th. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.

Carmina Burana is based upon a manuscript dating back to the 11th century and discovered by a Bavarian librarian in 1803. Carl Orff set the poems to music in 1936, and Nicolo Fonte prepared the score.

The piece was choreographed by Phyllis Papa.
