Wonder Bar Hosts Benefit Show For The Project Matters With Cymbals Eat Guitars(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ will host a benefit for The Project Matters on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 7:00pm. Headliner Cymbals Eat Guitars will top off the show with local talent Colton Kayser and TPM supported Tyler Sarfert rounding out the bill.  Proceeds go to to raise funds for the organization's mission of helping young New Jersey Musicians

"Now more than ever, The Project Matters is doing vital work-- getting instruments into the hands of budding Bowies, Beyoncés, and Bruces," said Joe D'Agostino, Cymbals Eat Guitars frontman. "I am proud to be associated with TPM and to honor my friend Benjamin High, whose memory strengthens our resolve in enabling future generations of young musicians to achieve on the world stage."

The Project Matters was founded in memory of Benjamin High an aspiring singer/songwriter who passed away at the age of 19. TPM helps young New Jersey artists 25 and under with the purchase of instruments, education, music and video production costs and other musical expenses. TPM assists with legal expertise, artist consulting, performance opportunities and emotional support. The Project Matters's mission is to empower, enable and encourage musicians to attain their creative potential. The Project Matters is a recognized non-profit organization incorporated in the State of New Jersey with 501(c)3 status.  

Tickets are $15 and are available online

The Wonder Bar is located at 1213 Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park, NJ.

Westminster Conservatory of Music observes Asian and Pacific American Heritage Month with May 19 faculty recital

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Westminster Conservatory of Music will present the concert, Celebrating Asian and Pacific American (APA) Heritage Month on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 7:30pm. The concert features nine Conservatory faculty members of APA heritage as they perform music that represents the nation of their background.
