UCPAC's Next Generation Songwriter Series features Alyssa Bonagura and Jesse & Noah

(RAHWAY, NJ) — Americana artists Alyssa Bonagura and Jesse & Noah will perform at The Loft at Union County Performing Arts Center, 1601 Irving Street, Rahway, Saturday, April 25 at 8 p.m. The concert is part of the ongoing Split Level Concert Series highlighting critically acclaimed singer-songwriters in a uniquely intimate setting.

Tickets are $22 advance, $24 door, and can be purchased by calling the UCPAC Box Office at (732) 499-8226 or visiting www.ucpac.org.

Alyssa Bonagura was born to make music. Her mom and dad are RCA country music stars Baillie And The Boys, and her cradle was the gentle rocking of a tour bus.

When she was 10, Alyssa recorded a duet with superstar Kenny Rogers on his Christmas From The Heart album. At 13, Alyssa hit the road for a 50-city tour opening for guitar virtuoso Marty Stuart.

From the youthful, bouncing ukulele sing-along on the nationwide 2012 Lowe’s commercial (“I Make My Own Sunshine) to her rocking, power-pop influenced “Warrior” , Alyssa has crafted her own unique musical style. Her upcoming release, Roots Run Deep, reflects growing up in a country music world with melodies and lyrics are as haunting as they are beautiful.

Jesse & Noah Bellamy are a brother duo, son and nephew of the Bellamy Brothers, whose good-time songs ruled the country radio waves in the 1970s.

After years of writing and recording with different record labels and becoming disillusioned with Nashville’s Music Row, Jesse & Noah have thrown away the rule book to forge their own sound. Their third LP, Driven Back, is self-produced and independently released and delivers an eclectic mix of roots-rock, power-pop, country and Americana.

Upcoming Split Level Concerts include Amy Black at UCPAC Mainstage on May 2 and Dayna Kurtz at UCPAC Loft on June 6.  For a full listing of shows, visit Split Level Concerts website at www.splitlevelconcerts.com and Union County Performing Arts Center website at www.ucpac.org.
