THE TRIAL OF ABRAHAM HUNT: An American Christmas Story tells the story of a little known event that happened the night of the Christmas crossing of the Delaware. America's future stood on the doorstep of Abraham Hunt's home in Trenton. On a snowy, windy Christmas night 1776, Washington and his troops shivered as they bravely fought to cross the icy waters of the Delaware River. George Washington still seeking a victory and the act of providence he so desperately needed. Not far away in  Trenton, Abraham hunt, a crafty businessman was nice and warm hosting quite the Christmas Party with his guests , the occupying German Hessians. Libations floating freely, food and good cheer went far into the evening. A seemingly unimportant Christmas event...or was it?

The next morning Washington attacked and reclaimed town of Trenton. Did Hunt provide aid and comfort to the enemy? Was he a traitor?. Was Hunt working for the enemy? Or was he a distraction that prevented the Hessians from finding out about the attack?, After finding an incriminating document suggesting Hunt is a truly a traitor, Mr Hunt is hauled off and charged. The trial becomes the talk of the region.
