(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Ten-time Grammy Award winner Chaka Khan brings her powerful voice, show-stopping stage presence and electrifying collection of hits to Tropicana Atlantic City on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 8:00pm in the Tropicana Showroom. Doors open at 7:00pm. Tickets are $55, $60, and $65, not including taxes and fees.
From the age of 18, when she burst onto the music scene in the 1970s as the lead singer of Rufus, Chaka Khan's talent set her apart. During her 40-year career, she has developed a vast international fan base, performed on six continents and influenced multiple generations of artists.
Chaka Khan has the rare ability to sing a spectrum of music genres, from classical and pop/rock to R&B and country. She has released 22 albums and racked up ten #1 Billboard magazine charted songs, eight singles certified gold from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and eleven RIAA certified gold and platinum albums. Chaka is currently in the studio at work on her next album.
