(LEONIA, NJ) -- The Players Guild of Leonia presents Crossing Delancy from March 13 through March 29th. Set in modern-day New York City, this charming romantic comedy will appeal to people of all ages.Â
Isabelle, an independent young woman, balances her secular life with her uptown friends against the old world that exists on the Lower East Side with her grandmother. However, when her grandmother employs a matchmaker to find her a husband, Isabelle's worlds collide and she finds that her impressions of both worlds is not so clear. In the end all is resolved with a generous donation of affection, humor and wisdom. Â
"Crossing Delancy" was written by Susan Sandler and directed by Carol Fisher Gertner. Â
Performances March 13th thru March 29th. Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 3pm. Tickets $20, $18 seniors and students. For reservations and information visit www.leoniaplayers.org or call 201-947-9606.
