The METROPOLITAN OPERA'S RISING STARS COME TO NEWARK

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Soprano Janai Brugger, tenor Yi Li and baritone Edward Parks will perform excerpts from Gounod's Roméo et Juliette, Puccini's La Bohème and Bizet's The Pearl Fishers, accompanied by pianist Dimitri Dover, in a dramatic program featuring some of opera's most enduring songs.  The event takes place Sunday, May 10 at 3:00pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, NJ.  Tickets range from $29 - $49.

Experience an afternoon of operatic romance presented by four gifted, up-and-coming artists from New York's Metropolitan Opera.  These musicians join us on the cusp of extraordinary careers and take part in this program via their association with The Met and/or its Lindemann Young Artist Development Program.  The recital features artists who are on the cusp of extraordinary careers through their association with the Met or its Lindemann Young Artist Development Program.

Westminster Conservatory of Music observes Asian and Pacific American Heritage Month with May 19 faculty recital

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Westminster Conservatory of Music will present the concert, Celebrating Asian and Pacific American (APA) Heritage Month on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 7:30pm. The concert features nine Conservatory faculty members of APA heritage as they perform music that represents the nation of their background. It will take place in Bristol Chapel (101 Walnut Lane) in Princeton. Admission is free.
