(NEWARK, NJ)-- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark announces eight-time Grammy nominee Ledisi ("I Blame You," "Pieces of Me"), triple Grammy nominee Raheem DeVaughn ("You") and singer-songwriter Leela James ("Fall for You") together in The Intimate Truth Tour, one unbelievable concert experience on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 8PM.

Acclaimed as one of the best soul singers of her generation, Ledisi has recorded six albums and has performed six times for the President and Mrs. Obama. Her expressive, jazz-influenced voice and well-produced songs are on full display in The Truth, her latest album. In 2009, Ledisi released her fourth album Turn Me Loose, which earned her two Grammy nominations, followed by her fifth album, Pieces of Me (2011) which debuted in the top ten of the US Billboard 200 album chart at number eight, becoming her first top-ten album of her career and her highest-charting album to date. It also garnered three Grammy nominations at the 54th Grammy Awards including for Best R&B Album. In 2013, she received a nomination for Best R&B Performance at the 55th Grammy Awards for her collaboration with fellow R&B and jazz musician Robert Glasper for the album cut "Gonna Be Alright" off of his Grammy Award-winning fifth album Black Radio (2012). Her soon to be released sixth album The Intimate Truth will be available January 20, 2015. Ledisi is set to portray the legendary gospel singer Mahalia Jackson in the Martin Luther King, Jr. biopic entitled Selma.

Singer and songwriter Raheem DeVaughn puts heart and soul into all the tracks of his fourth and newest album, A Place Called Loveland. His smash singles, "Woman" and "Customer," both earned Grammy nods, along with the ambitious The Love and War MasterPeace, nominated in 2010 as Best R&B Album of the Year.

Leela James first burst onto the scene with her 2006 debut album A Change Is Gonna Come and garnered nominations for Outstanding New Artist at the NAACP Image Awards and Best R&B/Soul or Rap New Artist of 2008 at the Soul Train Music Awards. Her album My Soul hit No. 7 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart.
