"The House at Pooh Corner" Comes To Kelsey Theatre

(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Young audiences are invited to spend an afternoon in the woods as “The House at Pooh Corner” comes to Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) Kelsey Theatre.  The show is presented by Virginia Repertory Theatre as part of the Kelsey Kids Series on Saturday, April 22 at 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Faithfully based on the 1928 A. A. Milne classic, Winnie-the-Pooh and friends make a visit to the magical Hundred Acre Wood in a tale of imagination, fun and friendship.

This charming musical introduces a new generation to the Pooh story, proving that the lessons shared by Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and Christopher Robin are truly timeless.  Young and old alike are reminded that “…Of course, it isn't really good-bye, because the forest will always be there... and anybody who is friendly with bears can find it.”

Virginia Repertory Theatre (formerly Theatre IV) is an award-winning nonprofit professional theater company that has been producing high quality children’s shows since 1975. Based in Richmond, Va., the traveling company tours from Wisconsin to Florida and Texas to Maine, while also presenting major productions in its home city.  The company performs live for more than half a million children, teens, parents and teachers across America every year.

Tickets for “The House at Pooh Corner” are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and children.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.kelseytheatre.net or by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333.  Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with free parking available next to the theater.

Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor Campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road
