The Dead Daisies To Play Two Dates In South Jersey

originally published: 07/21/2014
(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- The Dead Daisies featuring members from such bands as INX, Red Phoenix, Guns & Roses, Thin Lizzy, and Ozzy Osbourne are headed to New Jersey for two shows. On Saturday, August 2nd at 7pm, The Dead Daisies will perform at Boardwalk Hall (2301 Boardwalk) in Atlantic City. The following night they'll be at the Susquehanna Bank Center (1 Harbour Boulevard) in Camden.

The band released the "Face I Love" single on June 24. That same day they launched the "Face I Love" App on their Facebook page, which will allow fans to be a part of the album cover art and music video. Created to represent the iconic daisy skull logo of the band, Facebook users can upload an image of the face THEY love to the App to create a photo-mosaic portrait of The Dead Daisies skull - and make it bloom. The promotion is a true collaboration between the band and their fans, bringing real meaning to the title of the song, "Face I Love".

The Dead Daisies band is comprised of:

  • Jon Stevens (Noiseworks/INXS) - vocals
  • David Lowy (Mink/Red Phoenix) - guitar
  • Richard Fortus (Guns N' Roses/Psychedelic Furs) - lead guitar
  • Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy/Whitesnake) - bass
  • Dizzy Reed (Guns N' Roses/ Hookers & Blow) - keys
  • Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne/Billy Idol) - drums
