(MONTVILLE, NJ) -- The Barn Theatre presents Unnecessary Farce by Paul Slade Smith on select dates from March 17 to April 8. This hilarious comedy has everything one can hope for in a modern-day farce: Two cops. Three crooks. Eight doors. Go.
The play takes place in a cheap motel room where an embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female accountant, while in the room next-door, two undercover cops wait to catch the meeting on videotape. But there's some confusion as to who's in which room, who's being videotaped, who's taken the money, who's hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes.
Directed by Jeff Knapp, the cast includes Gianna Esposito, Jodi Freeman Maloy, Shawna Lagan, Rich Maloy, Jonathan Rudolph, Danny Siegel, and Michael Yoder
