State Theatre Presents Jim Brickman - Comfort & Joy at Home(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents a virtual concert by Jim Brickman on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 7:00pm. The Grammy(R)-nominated songwriter and piano sensation Jim Brickman will be performing this holiday season with the “Comfort & Joy at Home 2020” Virtual Tour.

Brickman delivers the sound and spirit of the season with carols, classics, and his own hit original songs such as, “The Gift,” “Sending You A Little Christmas,” “Angel Eyes,” and “If You Believe.” A portion of each ticket purchased to this LIVE virtual event will be benefit State Theatre New Jersey. 

Sing along, clap along, laugh along in an interactive concert experience with Jim Brickman and help support the State Theatre at the same time!

Tickets are available for purchase online.  Tickets begin at $40 for the concert with a Gold Package (Live Virtual Concert, Interact with Jim in the Zoom Room, Stocking full of Christmas gifts delivered to your doorstep) available for $75 and a Diamond Package (Live Virtual Concert, Interact with Jim in the Zoom Room, Stocking full of Christmas gifts delivered to your doorstep, AND After Show party with Jim) available for $125.

State Theatre was built in 1921 as a silent film and vaudeville palace. Recognizing the historic significance of the theater, PBS honored State Theatre New Jersey by featuring it in its docu-mentary series, Treasures of New Jersey, in the fall of 2018. “Treasures of New Jersey: State Theatre New Jersey” can be streamed at STNJ.org/History. Today, State Theatre is the largest performing arts center in Central New Jersey and has welcomed over 5.9 million people through its doors since reopening as a non-profit performing arts center in 1988. State Theatre New Jersey is a cornerstone of the cultural vitality of Middlesex County, and averages a total economic impact on New Brunswick and the surrounding area of more than $18 million a year. The main-stage programs have featured high-caliber artists such as Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, Kevin Hart, Ringo Starr, Melissa Etheridge, John Leguizamo, Harry Connick, Jr., Diana Krall, and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Program offerings include Broadway, orchestra, family, dance, comedy, rock/pop, jazz, Performances for Schools, and Sensory-Friendly Performances.
