Sea.Hear.Now Festival Announces Its Initial Lineup

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Sea.Hear.Now has announced its Lineup by Day, bringing Incubus, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Brandi Carlile, Blondie, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls and more to North Beach Asbury Park and Bradley Park on Saturday, September 29  while Jack Johnson, Social Distortion, Milky Chance, Kaleo, The Front Bottoms, The Menzingers, Lettuce and more will close out the 2-Day festival on Sunday, September 30.  This will also be Jack Johnson's final performance for his 2018 World Tour.

Sea.Hear.Now will bring fans over 25 bands on 3 stages, along with unique art and surf culture experiences. The schedule so far includes:

Saturday, September 29: Uncubus; Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals; Brandi Carlile; Blondie; Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls; Highly Suspect; SOJA; The English Beat; Deer Tick; Carl Broemel (of My Morning Jacket); Jesse Malin; The Battery Electric; Tangiers Blues Band.

Sunday, September 30: Jack Johnson; Social Distortion; Milky Chance; Kaleo; The Front Bottoms; The Menzingers; Lettuce; Langhorne Slim and the Lost at Last Band; G. Love & Special Sauce; The Original Wailers; Twin Peaks; Rayland Baxter; Nicole Atkins; Parlor Mob; and Deal Casino.

An Interview with Jim Loughlin of moe.

On Thursday, July 4, 2024, moe. will be returning to the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. Joining them will be summer tour collaborators, Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country and Neighbor. To celebrate the return of moe. for the 50th anniversary of the Stone Pony, I was able to catch up with Jim Loughlin (percussionist/Swiss army knife) and relive the glory days of past performances at the Jersey Shore while discussing the current state of the band.
