RVCC to Present Annual Music Faculty Recital On February 26

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- The Visual and Performing Arts Department (VAPA) of Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) will present the annual Music Faculty Recital, Friday, February 26, at 8:00pm, in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg Campus. The program will be coordinated by Associate Professor Tony Strong, Music Coordinator for the VAPA Department.

Participating music faculty will include Larry Barbee, guitar (Lebanon); Michael Eckhart, guitar (Hillsborough); Steve Hudson, piano (New York City); John Loehrke, bass (New York City); John Sichel, piano (Mountainside); and Tony Strong, piano (Long Valley). The event also will feature special guest artists Michelle Brazier, violin (Bound Brook), and Hsinyi Tsai, piano (Flemington).

The program will include solo, accompanied and ensemble pieces, spanning a wonderful variety of musical styles, traditions and repertory. Original compositions and arrangements also will be featured.

General admission tickets cost $12 each, $8 for students and seniors. For advance ticket reservations, call the RVCC Theatre Box Office at 908-725-3420.

Raritan Valley Community College’s main campus is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg, NJ.
