Roxey Ballet Announces 2016 Season Of Wheels and Bodies In Motion

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Roxey Ballet, based in Lambertville, has announced the new season of Wheels and Bodies in Motion. In partnership with the Mill Ballet School, Roxey Ballet welcomes members of the local community to participate in this one-of-a-kind integrated dance experience. Standing and seated dancers of all levels and abilities from Hunterdon, Mercer, Bucks, Somerset, and beyond will learn new ways of moving and creating while establishing friendships with others.

Mark and Melissa Roxey have been committed to creating integrated dance opportunities for dancers with disabilities for over 20 years. "Our mission at Roxey Ballet is to provide barrier free access for all to dance", says Mark Roxey, artistic director. "We hope that by offering this class, we can cultivate the talent of dancers of all ages and skill levels that previously have not had the opportunity to experience the pure joy and inherit benefits brought on by participation in the art of dance."


All sessions will take place at Roxey Ballet's Canal Studio Theatre in Lambertville, New Jersey.

Session 1 will take place Saturdays, October 8th through November 12th, from 1:30-2:30.

Session 2 will take place Saturdays, February 25th through April 8th, from 1:30-2:30.

The cost is $20 per class or $100 for a full session.


Roxey Ballet's studio facility is completely ADA accessible, including handicapped parking, double doors, and accessible bathrooms.
