(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Playhouse 22 will be hosting a Theater Fest ’21, free day-long outdoor in-person theater festival on Saturday, August 7 (rain date 8/14) and is hosting auditions for two people to serve as emcees. Auditions by appointment only will be held on Sunday, June 27 (from 6:00pm - 9:00pm) and Tuesday, June 29 (from 7:00pm - 9:30pm).
Responsibilities include introducing each act; providing some family-friendly banter between performances; and effectively engage with members of the cast and audience. There will be limited rehearsals either in-person or virtually. Special points for individuals who have special skills (i.e. juggling, stand-up comedy, card tricks, illusion) or a musical talent to show off. (Optional)
No stipends will be made to the emcees.

The entire event will be held outdoors adhering to current rules and regulations regarding social distancing on Saturday, August 7 and start at approximately noon and continue until approximately 10:00pm. The times of the festival are still to be determined based on the number of performances.
