PI Power Trio To Open For Nick Lowe's Quality Rock & Roll Revue In Jersey City

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- PI Power Trio are touring with Nick Lowe's Quality Rock & Roll Revue Featuring Los Straitjackets, which comes to White Eagle Hall in Jersey City on Friday, June 22nd. PI Power Trio is Pat Irwin (guitar, electronics), Sasha Dobson (drums, vocals) and Daria Grace (bass, vocals). Doors are at 7:30pm, showtime is 8:30pm.  The show is open to 18 and up. Tickets are $30-35. 

Pat Irwin is a world renowned guitarist and composer with dozens of album and soundtrack credits to his name. He was a member of The B-52s for twenty years as well as a founding member of The Raybeats and 8 Eyed Spy. He has written music for HBO's Bored To Death, Showtime's Nurse Jackie, Rocko's Modern Life, SpongeBob, Class of 3000 and hundreds of other cartoons, films and t.v. shows.

Sasha Dobson and Daria Grace are both established and unique performers on their own. Dobson's project with Norah Jones, called Puss 'N Boots, released their LP No Fools No Fun on Blue Note Records in 2014. She's released 5 solo records and her most recent single, "Unchained" was released in the spring of 2018.

Daria Grace also records and performs with her band The Pre War Ponies. Their 2016 recording, Get Out Under The Moon was recently praised by New York Daily Music: "Grace is one of New York's most distinctive and elegant singers…You'll be missing out if you don't own this album."

White Eagle Hall is located at 337 Newark Avenue in Jersey City, New Jersey.
