McCarter Theatre presents Five Mile Lake, a stunning new play by Rachel Bonds throughout the monthly of May. Bonds is building a reputation as an astonishingly talented writer. Performances takes place at 91 University Place, Princeton, NJ.
With exquisite care, the playwright paints a moving portrait of a group of young people, yearning to make the right choices—and facing the choices they have already made—as they journey into their thirties in a rapidly transforming world.
Directed by Emily Mann, Five Mile Lake continues McCarter’s tradition of introducing major new plays and writers to the American stage (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, The Convert, and Anna in the Tropics). Don’t miss this funny, tender, and heart-wrenching play about those who stay, and those who go away.

Vivid Stage presents Banned in Boston: A Cabaret Fundraiser Showcasing Scenes and Songs from "Controversial" Plays
(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage is presenting a cabaret as a fundraiser for the company on Friday, June 21, 2024. The Vivid Ensemble will perform scenes and songs from plays and musicals that have been banned, canceled or protested. The evening will include hors d'oeuvres, beverages and dessert.
