On Stage: Ernest Shackleton Loves Me

George Street Playhouse presents a new, epic musical by the writer of Clever Little Lies, Memphis and The Toxic Avenger Musical -- New Jersey’s own, Joe DiPietro.

In his latest work, Ernest Shackleton Loves Me, a sleep-deprived single mom and video game music composer is contacted across time by the famous explorer Ernest Shackleton. Inspired by her music, he shares his epic Antarctic journey as they struggle toward and conquer new horizons in this cross-time love affair for the ages -- featuring music and lyrics by Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda of GrooveLily.

Vigoda (an alumnus of Princeton University) also stars in the play alongside Wade McCollum.

The production runs April 22 through May 17 at 9 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
