Nutley Little Theatre presents "A Grand Night For Singing"(NUTLEY, NJ) -- Nutley Little Theatre presents "A Grand Night For Singing," opening Friday, February 10 at 8pm and running for three weekends through Saturday, February 25 at the NLT Barn in Nutley, NJ.  This musical revue was conceived by Walter Bobbie with music by Richard Rogers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and music arrangements by Fred Wells.  It explores the broad spectrum of romantic relationships by way of more than thirty Rogers and Hammerstein songs; classics and lesser-known discoveries as well.
 
The show is directed by Gira Derise-Weaver of Wharton.  Music Director is Paul Diverio of Ringwood.  Stage manager is Anita Esteve of Pompton Plains.  The ensemble cast is comprised of Aurora Bella Geis of Clifton, Jessica Albano of Bridgewater, Kelly Wenz of Pompton Lakes, Andrea Thibodeau of Westfield, Dorian Balis of Clifton, Peter Downing of Cliffside Park and John Poff of Belleville.  
 
Performances are Fridays, February 10, 17, 24; Saturdays, February 11, 18, 25 at 8pm; Thursday, February 23 at 8pm; and Sundays, February 12, 19 at 2pm. There is also a 2pm matinee on Saturday, February 25.  The opening night performance is for the benefit of Women's Auxiliary, VFW Post 493.
 
This production is presented by permission of R&H Theatricals. 
 
Nutley Little Theatre engages SmartTix.com to handle ticket sales by phone and through the internet.  To order by phone call 212-868-4444.  To order online, patrons can go the NLT website and click on the red "NLT" icon on the right under "Buy Tickets."  Ticket price is $22.00.  There is a $2 discount (matinees only) for students and senior citizens who show ID's at the box office.
