About Tedeschi Trucks Band:

TTB has cemented their reputation for thrilling audiences worldwide with legendary live performances and award-winning albums.   Tedeschi Trucks Band, currently featured on the cover of Relix Magazine, is touring in support of their brand new disc, Let Me Get By (Fantasy Records). Delivering a wide range of musical styles, from Memphis soul to R&B to blues and funk, the long awaited album is currently riding high at #1 on the Americana Airplay Chart.

Since their inception in 2010, TTB have seen both of their previous albums debut in the Top 15 of the Billboard 200, and won a Grammy for their debut album Revelator.  The Jacksonville-based group tour over 200 days of the year and have top-bill performances at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Lockn’ Music Festival and their just announced Wheels of Soul summer headlining amphitheatre tour. Recent performance highlights include four consecutive sold out shows at their annual Beacon Theatre residency as well as a surprise guest appearance on the debut of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. NPR has praised Trucks and Tedeschi as “two of the best roots rock musicians of their generation.” Driven by Trucks, #16 of the top 100 Guitarists of All Time (Rolling Stone), and powerhouse vocalist Tedeschi, TTB has quickly become the vanguard of modern roots music.

NJPAC Announces Shows With The Tedeschi Trucks Band and The Gipsy Kings

About The Gipsy Kings:

Taking audiences back to the south of France with flamenco guitars and booming Spanish vocals, the hit-makers behind 'Bamboléo' celebrate in their very own, blistering tradition. The Gipsy Kings will raise the roof with dance-ready furore, returning to their groundbreaking eponymous album and the nomadic spirit that has led them to their latest, Savor Flamenco, which received a Grammy for Best World Music Album in 2014.

Uniting the family Reyes and the family Baliardo, the band continues a tradition that has drawn famous fans such as Picasso, Cocteau, Dali and Chaplin. Breaking world music barriers as one of the rare groups to climb the US and World music charts and featured in the likes of The Big Lebowski, Toy Story 3 and Glee, the band has embraced western classics by Bob Marley, the Doobie Brothers and The Eagles with globe-hopping grace, whilst also incorporating dramatic cues from Brazilian and Caribbean culture.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is located at One Center Street in Newark, NJ.
