(RED BANK, NJ) -- Monmouth Arts' Board of Trustees has name Teresa Staub as the new Executive Director. She replaces longtime Executive Director, Mary Eileen Fouratt, who now serves as a Program Officer for the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Staub brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having worked in development and leadership positions in the nonprofit sector for over 25 years. Familiar with the cultural institutions and artistic community in Monmouth County, she also brings expertise in fundraising, community outreach, and administration.
Staub states of her new position, "I am truly grateful to work for an organization that sustains and creates opportunities for the arts to flourish in Monmouth County. I look forward to working with Monmouth Arts' incredible team as well as the hundreds of arts organizations and artists that we partner with throughout the year."
Staub comes from the Algonquin Arts Theatre where she served as Senior Development Director for over six years. She has also worked as the Development Director of the Axelrod Performing Arts Center and New Jersey Repertory Company. Prior to her work in the arts, Staub worked for the American Cancer Society for 11 years where she served as Executive Director of the Ocean County Unit. She is a graduate of Marymount College of Fordham University with a BA in Political Science.
