Mark Diomede's Alligator Pays Tribute To Grateful Dead In Free Show at Tropicana

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Celebrate one of the greatest eras in music with a free concert at Tropicana Atlantic City. During Tropicana’s Spring Fever Festival, Mark Diomede’s Alligator will present a tribute to the Grateful Dead with a free rock concert on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Show time is at 8:00pm in the Grand Exhibition Center. Doors open at 7:30pm. Concert attendees must be 21.

Music fans will not want to miss the chance to hear the rhythmic grooves and instrumental jams as Mark and his band pay tribute to the psychedelic era in this free concert event. Some of the band's popular covers include “Sugar Magnolia,” “Touch of Grey,” “Casey Jones,” “China Cat Sun Flower,” “The Golden Road, “Ramble on Rose” and more.

Ever evolving, Mark Diomede’s Alligator represents all incarnations of the music, with guests that include new players and friends who have played the music over the years. The band includes: Mark Diomede on lead guitar and vocals. (Solar Circus, Juggling Suns, Penque Diomede band, Disco Inferno band); Ronnie Penque on bass and vocals (New Ryders, Melvin Seal's J.G.B., Ripple, Penque Diomede band, Splintered Sunlight); Ivan Funk on drums (Juggling Suns, Splintered Sunlight); Kevin Johnson on drums (Juggling Suns , Penque Diomede band, Rainbow Full Of Sound); Jeff Pearlman on Keys and vocals (Wig Jam, One Eyed Jack , Penque Diomede band); and Tim Morris on guitar and vocals (Juggling Suns).

Martell's Tiki Bar to Host Fundraiser for Teddy B. of The Sensational Soul Cruisers

(POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ) -- There will be a fundraiser for Eric Barney aka Teddy B. on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Martell's Tiki Bar with entertainment by The Motor City Revue, Carlton J. Smith, High in the Mid 80's and MC Johnny Mac.  The event runs from 7:00pm to 11:00pm and is for 21 and over.
