(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Vanguard Theater Company celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a special video presentation of musical selections from past Vanguard productions that speak to Dr. King's dream of equity, unity and love, and selections from some of Dr. King's speeches.
The speech excerpts were voiced by Vanguard cast members and some very special guests, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Luis A. Miranda Jr., and Montclair Mayor Sean Spiller, with musical selections performed by Broadway artists Tamar Greene (Hamilton on Broadway), Leandra Ellis-Gaston (Tina), Joshua Morgan (Ain't Too Proud), Jelani Remy (Ain't Too Proud), Michael James Leslie (Sweeny Todd), and Deonté Warren (Aladdin).
