Leonia Chamber Musicians Society Announces 2016-2017 Season(LEONIA, NJ) -- The Leonia Chamber Musicians Society launches the 2016-2017 season performing three special concerts from November 6, 2016 to April 23, 2017 in Leonia, New Jersey. 

The 2016-2017 series presents these concerts:

November 6, 2016. 7:30pm.  Leonia United Methodist Church, 396 Broad Avenue, Leonia, New Jersey.  In honor of the elections, an American themed program will be performed, featuring Antonín Dvořák's American String Quartet and including music by American composer Samuel Barber.

February 5, 2017. 4:00pm.  All Saints Episcopal Church, 150 Park Avenue, Leonia, New Jersey.  A Spanish flavor program will spotlight Cynthia Phelps, Principal Viola of the New York Philharmonic, performing Joaquín Turina Scene andalouse for solo viola, piano and strings.  Music by Luigi Boccherini and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco will also be presented.

April 23, 2017.  7:30pm.  All Saints Episcopal Church, 150 Park Avenue, Leonia, New Jersey.

By popular request, the Franz Schubert Trout Quintet will be performed.

The concerts, presented by professional musicians, are open to the public.  Tickets will be available for purchase at the door: $30 for adults, $25 for seniors, and students under 18 are admitted free.  Refreshments will be served after the concert, and the audience will have an opportunity to meet and greet the musicians.  All Saints Episcopal Church is fully handicapped accessible.

 The special season subscription rate for all three concerts is $80 for adults ages 18 and over and $65 for seniors, reflecting a $10 savings for season tickets.  Checks should be made payable to the Leonia Chamber Musicians Society, Inc. and mailed to P.O. Kenny Chesney To Perform At Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

State Theatre New Jersey presents Cirque Dreams Holidaze

NJSO presents 2019 Winter Festival, 'Music Speaks'

RVCC Chorale to Perform Annual Holiday Concert on December 8th
(BRANCHBURG, NJ) --The RVCC Chorale will give its annual holiday concert on Saturday, December 8 at 8:00pm in the Welpe Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College’s Branchburg campus. The program will feature Johann Sebastian Bach’s cantata, Das Neugeborne Kindelein, as well as a cappella pieces from by Sergei Rachmaninov, Zoltan Kodaly and Giuseppe Verdi. The program also will include an audience singalong of traditional carols.
Classic Stones Live! The Complete Rolling Stones Tribute Show Comes To SOPAC
(SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- The Rolling Stones, the greatest Blues band of all time, couldn’t make it to SOPAC on their 2018 tour. Instead, the acclaimed tribute band Classic Stones Live! makes an appearance on the SOPAC stage December 15 at 8:00pm for those who like to hear their Rolling Stones hits live.

In the music room in the back of our house, there’s an electric bass and amp, two acoustic guitars, a microphone and PA speakers, several pieces of music recording equipment, and a bookcase filled with books on music, not to mention a slew of assorted music memorabilia.
