(SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- Three-time Grammy Award-winner and visionary roots-music storyteller Keb' Mo' tours in support of his new album BLUESAmericana, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart and #2 on the Billboard Folk Chart. He will be making a stop at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) on Thursday, March 12 at 7:30pm. Tickets range from $68 - $88.
Keb's music is a living link to the seminal Delta blues that traveled up the Mississippi River and across the expanse of America - informing all of its musical roots - before evolving into a universally celebrated art form. Over the past two decades he has cultivated a reputation as a modern master of American roots music through the understated excellence of his live and studio performances. His songs have been recorded by B.B. King, Buddy Guy, the Dixie Chicks, Joe Cocker, and Robert Palmer, and his playing inspired leading instrument maker Gibson Brands to issue the Keb' Mo' Signature Bluesmaster acoustic guitar. He's collaborated with a host of other artists including Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Brown, Cassandra Wilson, Buddy Guy, Amy Grant, Solomon Burke and Little Milton.
The South Orange Performing Arts Center is located at One SOPAC Way in South Orange, NJ. For more information visit www.sopacnow.org
