ELTC’s Benefit Beer Dinner hosted by The Blue Rose Inn (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- On Thursday, April 23 at 5:30p.m., The Blue Rose Inn and Restaurant, located at 653 Washington Street in Cape May, is offering a special 5-course dinner paired with beers from Cape May Brewery. Cost is only $75 for this delectable dining experience and the proceeds benefit the nonprofit Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company. East Lynne Theater Company is the permittee of this liquor license that allows beer to be served: permit number 15007940.

Also available for those who wish to stay at the inn, is the BBB Package: Bed, Breakfast, and Beer, for April 23-25, which includes a two-night stay, two tickets to ELTC’s Benefit Beer Dinner, a growler and two pint glasses, two tee-shirts, and a tasting and tour of Cape May Brewery, all for only $409, plus tax and gratuity.

East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) is a proven destination for theater lovers who crave the adventure of discovery.  By bringing the American Spirit to the stage with its blend of provocative premieres and timeless classics, this award-winning Equity professional theater provides a portal to the past for a better understanding of the present.  Founded in 1980, it was the first theater in the country with the unique mission of presenting and preserving America's theatrical heritage, and is named after a popular 19th century American play. “The New York Times” listed ELTC as one of the 75 top summer theaters in North America.

ELTC takes pride in providing theater-goers, actors, and directors, alike, the experience of seeing and working on plays by American Masters like Rachel Crothers, George S. Kaufman, and Eugene O'Neill, as well as new works based on American literature and history. ELTC's artist-in-residence programs in schools and summer theater workshops teach students acting, playwriting, and production. The company's touring shows travel throughout the country. During the Cape May Performing Season (March and June through December), the company is in residence at the historic First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, right in the center of town, a block away from the beach.

The company operates all year long, and other programming includes Tales of the Victorians, Sunday Silent Film Series (with The Cape May Film Society), Murder Mystery Weekends (November, February, and March with The Henry Sawyer Inn), The Ghosts of Christmas Past Trolley Rides (with Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities), and lectures and workshops for all ages at various locations. Season tickets, group rates, dinner-show packages, B&B-show packages, and packages for bus/private tours are available. ELTC is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation and donations are tax-deductible.
