(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Dramarama returns to the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ on Saturday, August 15. The Wayne, NJ / Los Angeles alternative rock band will headline a bill that also features The Easy Outs. Admission is $17.50 in advance.
Dramarama recorded 7 studio albums including "Cinema Verite'"(1985), "Stuck In Wonderamaland" (1989), "Vinyl" (1991) and "Hi Fi-Sci Fi" (1993) and released a number of singles which include "Last Cigarette", "Anything, Anything", "Haven't Got A Clue" and "Work For Food". The band originally formed in New Jersey in 1982 and disbanded in 1994 however they formally reunited in 2003 following an appearance on VH1's Bands Reunited reality show. Since 1996, an evolving lineup of the band, always fronted by singer/songwriter John Easdale, has been performing in one incarnation or another and from then on played shows in New Jersey and occasionally in Los Angeles and New York City. Dramarama has been touring nationally, and released their first new, full-length studio album since "Hi Fi-Sci Fi", titled "everybody dies", in 2005.
The Easy Outs from Long Branch, New Jersey bring good ol’ fashion rock and roll. Formed in 2009 and released their first album to critical raves, the group is now getting ready to record their second album, and then its off to the UK. The Band members include: Bruce Ferguson-Lead Vocals, Steve DeVito-Lead Guitar, Mike DePasquale-Guitar, John DiVuolo-Bass, and Kenny Stevens-Drums.
The Wonder Bar is located at 1213 Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park, NJ.
