Circle Players Presents: “Dealer’s Choice”

Circle Players Presents: “Dealer’s Choice”(PISCATAWAY, NJ) -- Circle Players presents Dealer's Choice by Patrick Marber as the third production of their 65th anniversary season.  Marber’s play depicts a set of desperate London restaurant workers assembling for their “friendly” regular poker game… only to find one of them has invited a newcomer to the table who is not what he seems. Performance are select dates from January 20 to Feburary 5.

Winner of the Evening Standard Award for Best Comedy and the Writers’ Guild for Best West End Play, performances of Dealer's Choice include:

◦       Fridays: Jan 20, Feb 3 at 8:00pm

◦       Saturdays: Jan 21, Jan 28, Feb 4 at 8:00pm

◦       Sunday: Jan 29, Feb 5 at 3:00pm

Appearing in the cast are: Brian Craig of Belmar as Stephen; Michael Stratton of Union City as Mugsy; JC Gibriano of Franklin Park as Sweeney; Nils Swanson of North Brunswick as Frankie; Noah Stanzione of Long Valley as Carl and Kirk White of Scotch Plains as Ash.

The play is directed by John P. Dowgin of Spotswood, stage managed by Michelle Gibriano of Franklin Park, and produced by Elyse Halloran of Franklin.

Audiences are invited to join in a special wine and cheese reception in the theater lobby following the opening night performance. A talkback will be held following the Sunday, Jan 29 performance.

For reservations, call (732) 968-7555, or buy tickets online at  www.circleplayers.org. Tickets are $18 for adults and $17 for students and seniors. Sorry, no credit cards may be used at the box office, but will be accepted online.

The theater is located at 416 Victoria Avenue, Piscataway. Please be advised: due to the unique layout of this theater in the round, latecomers cannot be seated after the performance has started. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before curtain.

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Asbury Park Theater Company presents The Mountaintop by Katori Hall from May 10-19, 2024 at the Jersey Shore Arts Center.
