Busta Rhymes & Friends Hot for The Holidays Show Gets Even Hotter

(NEWARK, NJ) --   The “Busta Rhymes & Friends Hot for the Holidays” concert just got a bit hotter.  The event, which takes place at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on December 5, 2015, has added Mariah Carey and Rick Ross to a lineup that includes performances by Sean "Diddy" Comba (a.k.a. Puff Daddy), Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne, Sean Paul, French Montana, Fetty Wap, and Jeremih.  Tickets range from $59.75 to $149.75.

“My friends and I will definitely make this a night to remember! Everyone that will perform with me on that stage is someone that I have a collaborated with and are my close friends; we are ready to shut it down! I can show you better than I can tell you; everyone will see how powerful this movement is going to be,” said Busta Rhymes.

From his early beginnings with two albums with “Leaders Of The New School”, eight solo albums, one with Flip Mode Squad, and features on well over 600 records with artists that many know and love, Busta Rhymes has shown he is a force to be reckoned with, shifting with the music game at a time that it’s consistently changing.

“Last year, HOT 97 and our sister-station, WBLS 107.5, came together to host ‘Christmas in Brooklyn’, which quickly became the event of the holiday season,” states Deon Levingston, General Manager of Emmis NY.  “The event became so big we knew we had to expand for 2015.  HOT 97 is excited to team up with Busta Rhymes for ‘Hot for the Holidays’, the only concert available during the season that celebrates Hip Hop.  Busta is a legend in this game, and has worked with such a long list of amazing talent, you know he’s going to have some holiday ‘gifts’ ready to surprise the fans with.”

The Prudential Center is located at 25 Lafayette Street in Newark, NJ.
