(RED BANK, NJ) -- Bobby Bandiera’s Jersey Shore Rock n’ Soul Revue returns to the Count Basie Theatre with Handle With Care: The Music of The Traveling Wilburys on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 8:00pm. The night features Bobby and his all-star cast of performers playing tribute to the legendary 80s super group along with songs from each of its individual stars: ELO’s Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and George Harrison.
The Traveling Wilburys may have only released two albums, but the combination of legendary artists and wonderful songwriters had a chemistry few bands ever achieve. Some of their hits include "Handle With Care," "End Of The Line" and "Last Night." Their first album also contained a brilliant song about New Jersey called "Tweeter and the Monkey Man."
"The Traveling Wilburys were perhaps the greatest, classic-rock super group of all time," says Bandiera, who will curate the evening and perform as the Revue's bandleader. "That these musicians accomplished so much individually, and yet came together to create two unforgettable powerhouse albums, is a testament to their importance in the world of rock and roll. I am honored to pay tribute to a band and its members, all of which contributed so much great music in my lifetime."
Tickets range from $29 to $49. A special VIP package (with a meet & greet) is available for $99.
The Count Basie Theatre is located at 99 Monmouth Street in Red Bank, NJ.
